The story of Rurouni Kenshin takes place in Japan during the Meiji Era. After a violent revolution the country is trying to recover but many man slayers from the revolution are still lurking around. Which brings us to the main story the story centers around Kenshin Himura, the Hitokiri Batousai.The most famous man slayer of the revolution. After the war he takes an oath to protect the innocent and never kill again. Thus the story begins...
